We're betting the answer is probably YES! Now first you may be asking "WHAT is a patio home??"!
And maybe you've heard it called something else depending on where you're from and what the developer wants to call it: Lifestyle home, garden home, villa home, club home and others.
Basically, it is USUALLY a detached ranch home, but can be two stories too. Maybe a basement, maybe not. In general, it's like the best of condo living with the best of a single family home!
Let someone else MOW the grass, RAKE the leaves, SHOVEL the snow while you kick back and enjoy life! And the bonus, since you're in a detached home, you're not hearing through the walls WHATEVER it is the neighbors are doing (unless you like that kind of thing!).
Patio homes are usually with a lot of the bells and whistles, with nice flourishes inside and more curb appeal than the typical home. Typically 2-4 bedrooms and in MOST cases on small lots, although depending on your previous home, a .2 acre lot might seem HUGE!
And we have them in all price ranges from the mid $100ks to about $500k! As you might guess, there's a LOT of difference in between those two ends of the spectrum. Resale or new construction patio homes, take your pick in Warren County!
Usually Warren County patio homes are located in pocket developments, rarely more than 70 homes or so, and often MUCH smaller than that. And more often than not, they're part of a pool community! Now tell me you won't enjoy that when the mercury is over 90 and humid??!
Now here's another benefit you might not initially think of, but they free up your life for some options that aren't as easy when you've got that single family home to take care of! Travel a lot? A patio home is a PERFECT choice! Never have to worry about the grass growing while you're gone! Have the post office hold your mail and enjoy that four week jaunt around Europe or down to one of those sandy Caribbean destinations! No worries mon! :)
Now if you want to have the humongous garden and some farm animals....well than a patio home is NOT for you!
